A leading international energy corporation found itself entangled in a 14 month impasse over a $10 million solution to a problem. Diverse viewpoints were thwarting their ability to find common ground. Meetings were characterized by very aggressive disagreement or passive-aggressive behavior.
Participants brought the 14 month impasse to class. After the two day EQ seminar, everyone was overwhelmed when they reached a solution – and they did so in 28 minutes. EQ not only improves decision-making and problem solving. It also reduces time in meetings - on average by up to two hours per day. A second EQ class was offered, and participants resolved a three-year problem in two hours - resulting in a savings of about $19 million.
